'Difference maker', 'Hope this comes true' - Many AVFC fans discuss future of 14-goal man https://ift.tt/eA8V8J

Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to a latest news article discussing whether Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham could make a return to the club.

The 22-year-old striker arrived on a season-long loan at Villa Park in the summer of 2018 and played a big part in the club’s promotion via the play-offs to the Premier League.

Netting an impressive 26 goals in 41 games for Villa, Abraham returned to parent club Chelsea last summer where he has since gone on to feature regularly for the Blues.

A return of 14 Premier League goals for Chelsea this season has been impressive from the youngster but his future is now under question as boss Frank Lampard looks to welcome new signing Timo Werner to the club this summer.

With his future under question, Birmingham LIVE reported last month that Abraham had turned down a new contract offer from Chelsea, which would certainly capture the interest of Villa. On the back of that there have been questions over whether Villa could make a return move for the striker, including on the Claret and Blue podcast.

Reacting to the links via Twitter account @AVFC_News, Villa fans responded to the potential of Abraham returning.
